Is it possible to automate captcha with Selenium WebDriver?

I am automating a webpage where I have to fill up a form.There is also a captcha. Is it possible to automate the captcha and write the value from the captcha image?

Best answer
No its not. As capcha is there to prevent automation. However you can try using firefox profiler if you are closely working with development team to avoid capcha.
